Suzanne graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a degree in Business Administration. She obtained her law degree at Marquette University. She is licensed to practice in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Suzanne is a member of the Douglas County Bar Association.

Suzanne and her husband Dan reside in Superior. She enjoys hiking, biking, Lake Superior, live music and theater.
